On February 1, 1995- Expansion Joint Systems (EJS) signed a five-year strategic source agreement with Henry Vogt Machine Company (VOGT-NEM) to supply all of Vogt's metal and fabric expansion joints. The agreement was the first to be concluded in the Heat Transfer division's strategy source program. Both companies wanted to give their customers an easier way to order HRSG products. By providing one product from one vendor will save them time, money, and paperwork.

Over the years, Vogt found that they were spending a lot of money re-ordering expansion joints that were either damaged at their receiving facility or during installation. EJS worked with Vogt to develop a protective cover that would safeguard the bellows during shipping, receiving and installation. Since then, Vogt's damaged bellows have been significantly minimized.

EJS engineers work with Vogt-NEM's design and engineering staff to improve designs that will offer the most cost-effective product to their customers without sacrificing performance.
